Shen Yun Performing Arts finished two performances in Florence, Italy, on Dec. 28 and Dec. 29. Attendees said the performance touched them emotionally.
Roberto Sposito, a neurologist, said Shen Yun “is such a unique show. I am at a loss for words because I was amazed. I didn’t expect this. It’s a rare beauty.”
Shen Yun draws inspiration from China’s 5,000 years of divinely inspired culture before communism.
Mauro Nannini, also a doctor, spoke of how impactful Shen Yun was.
“It’s an exciting performance that strikes a deep chord within you. Truly moving you from the inside out,” he said. “The tenor was moving, conveying emotion through his voice and body. Reading the words was really moving.”
Patrizia Rosati, an entrepreneur, said Shen Yun “is amazing, it’s beautiful. The performers are outstanding and also the effects. Everything is fantastic, really fantastic.”
Alessandro Aliinari, a violinist, complemented the orchestra.
“The orchestra is very precise, very accurate, very well assembled, in tune, and technically perfect. Really a beautiful performance,” he said.
Other theatergoers said they were deeply impressed by Shen Yun’s artistry.
“It really gave me a feeling of lightness,“ said Patrizia Rosati. ”And then the [dancers] seemed to fly, more than dance. They seem to really fly. I was really impressed and amazed by all this.”
Roberto Sposito said, “the ensemble, the dancing skills, the music blended with the artistry of these dancers. I think unique and incomparable are best, to sum up the beauty of this performance.”
Sonia Pallai, a tourism manager with ANCI Toscana, said, “compliments to [Shen Yun] for their strength, tenacity and skill. They are really great, and the dancing is amazing.”
Shen Yun will perform in Cagliari, Italy, from Jan. 2 to Jan. 4.
