HSINCHU, Taiwan—Ms. Chan Ting is the deputy controller of the Hsinchu Branch of the Taiwan Radio Broadcasting Company,  and  chairwoman of Hsinchu Hokka Arts Association. After watching the Shen Yun Performing Arts International Company’s premiere in Hsinchu City on March 19, she said, “We can feel gods are with us while watching the shows performed by the singers and dancers. Shen Yun’s performance is really marvelous.”

Ms. Chan Ting said  emotionally, “Frankly speaking, of all these years in my life, this is my only experience watching a performance with all the art pieces being all very special. The dances were unique that made us feel like watching the show in an ancient palace. We were so lucky to witness the outstanding performance presented at Hsinchu Municipal Performance Hall.

“It’s a hard feeling to describe. I just feel so lucky that Shen Yun performed at Hsinchu, and I got the chance to see it myself. It is such a phenomenal show. It really is. I realized that the tickets are sold out. I feel sorry for those who cannot see it. The tickets were so hard to get even though there are 6 shows in Hsinchu.

“Compared to today’s show, all those I’ve seen in the past have become nothing special. Shen Yun is so amazing and overwhelming, beyond words.

“The male and female dancers appear to be similar shapes and sizes in terms of body weight and height. It is rarely seen. I believe the selection standards must be very high. Furthermore, I really could not figure out how the stage background was designed. It was my first experience of seeing this kind of presentation.

“Every dance and piece of music is fantastic. Shen Yun displays all the gorgeous parts of different ethnic groups.  It gives the audience an unforgettable experience and makes them feel like seeing it again.

“I felt so peaceful in my mind after seeing the show. While listening to the songs of the tenor and soprano, I felt like gods were with us. The same feelings lasted when seeing the dances. It was a very peaceful and pleasant moment.

“Such a high-level program is not easy to come by at Hsinchu. I will tell people on my radio show how magnificent Shen Yun Performing Arts is. My listeners need to know about such an outstanding program.”

Ms. Chan Ting holds a key role in her radio station and has years of experience hosting radio shows. She is also one of the most senior journalists with 20–30 years of experience at Hsinchu. The programs she hosted won awards from the Society for the Development in the Broadcasting & Television Industry from the Government Information Office many times.
