Chocolate lovers, rejoice! L'École du Grand Chocolat Valrhona opened its doors this week in DUMBO.
The school’s location is the first in the United States, and fourth in the world, after Paris-Versailles, Tain-L'Hermitage in France, and Tokyo.
It will offer classes in chocolate and pastry for professional chefs, and starting in early 2015, for consumers as well.
“We began as a school of French excellence; we have become an international school born in France,” said Antoine Violette, director of L'École du Grand Chocolat Brooklyn, in a press release.
