Wilson Phillips, the popular female vocal trio in the early 1990s, released Christmas in Harmony.

On Monday, Nov. 29, Yahoo Music premiered the video debut of the album’s single, I Wish It Could be Christmas Every Day.

The group skyrocketed to the top of the charts during the summer of 1990 with it’s hit single debut, Hold On.

Their first album sold over 10 million copies worldwide, surpassing the Supremes and making the young ladies, at the time, the best-selling female group of all time.

In a Nov. 22 interview with the three on the Wilson Phillips Official Website, Wendy Wilson, one of the two Wilson sisters in the group, said, “We always knew we would do a Christmas album at some point. It’s perfect timing, and we couldn’t be happier to be together again.”

At this point in their careers, the timing is good, indeed.

There is a total of nine children between the three members of the group. The album’s theme, therefore, fits into their lives like a glove.

“There’s something about the spirit of Christmas,” said Carnie Wilson in the interview. “It’s all about the music and the family being together; there’s nothing like it.”

At one point in the video of I Wish It Could be Christmas Every Day, jubilant children run into a room where the three are singing and open gifts.

The singers look like one happy family in their video single of Christmas in Harmony and their excitement about the album is apparent.

“It’s got a really positive message, and the lyrics are visual. It makes you feel like you’re there,” adds Wendy Wilson.
