A beautiful New Hampshire horse has been caught on camera imitating her owner by laying on the ground and rolling around to make snow angels.
Sandy Hodskins, who owns West Meadow Farm in Bradford, New Hampshire, was delighted when her horse, West Wind, a 17-year-old Kiger mustang, decided to join her in playing after a heavy snowstorm.
“[M]y husband was out plowing. After I got done shoveling, I brought West Wind to a new paddock with fresh snow and starting making snow angels. She decided she wanted to join me,” Hodskins told Viralhog. “I was happy she did it next to me! We were just having fun like we did as kids, something we often forget to do when we turn into an adult.”
According to Hodskins, West Wind was born in Bend, Oregon, and she has had her since she was a yearling. They have “been a team ever since,” studying natural horsemanship together, a communicative technique that uses psychology to connect with the horse at every level in recreation, training, and competition.
