Here is an amazing moment, captured on video by a wildlife photographer, showing his wife getting a great big “hug” from an elephant seal.

That adorable embrace soon turned into a group hug when a few of the seal’s friends joined in.

Chris Bray, 38, was on expedition in Gold Harbor on the island of South Georgia, South America, when he and his wife came across a raft of king penguins.

While getting up close to photograph the flightless birds, a bunch of nearby elephant seal pups shuffled over, on their bellies, to greet the human duo.

Soon, one of the pups broke from the herd and began paying particular interest in Chris’s wife, Jess.

He caught the whole hilarious moment on camera.

The video shows the curious creatures resting their necks on Jessica’s as if giving her a big hug.

“My wife Jess was laying down to take a shot of some king penguins in South Georgia when a marauding gang of elephant seal pups decided to flop on over and give her a hug,” said Chris, an Australian Geographic wildlife photographer from Christmas Island, Australia.

“They’re as heavy as they are adorable, almost.”

Here is the priceless footage he recorded:
