The U.S. Marshals Service, with help of the Cleveland Division of Police, has recovered two more missing children in Ohio late Thursday afternoon.
Two girls, a 14-year-old and 15-year-old from Jackson Township, were reported missing on Aug. 28.
They were then located on the city’s west side and have since been turned over to Cuyahoga County Children’s Services.
Last week, the service announced the recovery of 25 missing teens, aged between 13 and 18 from Cleveland, East Cleveland, Akron, Mansfield, Euclid, Willoughby, as well as out of state in Miami.
Officials stated of Thursday’s rescue: “The girls were both safely recovered from a home on Cleveland’s West side. They will be turned over to Children’s Services in Cuyahoga County. The recovery of these two young girls brings the total recovered under Operation Safety Net to just under 30.”
