French pastry chef Dominique Ansel, the man who created the ’Cronut‘ is back with a new treat—a heart-shaped pretzel.

Chef Dominique Ansel explains that he loves creating new things and always wants to make something fun and interesting. This passion made him create a heart- shaped pretzel.

The heart- shaped pretzel is served on the side with honey, a little bit of butter, and fresh raspberry. It is a soft pretzel and gets its inspiration from a fashion icon DKNY, who is said to be launching its new fragrance “My NY” that is said to have a flavor of raspberry, so Dominique Ansel decided to do something that was fun with raspberry.

This free heart-shaped pretzel will be available today only, August 19, outside Madison Square Park at Broadway and 5th Avenue (Between 24th and 25th Streets) between 11- 3 p.m. A couple of unnamed celebrities along with Chef Dominique Ansel himself  will be handing out the heart pretzels. After today, the pretzels will be gone forever (or so Chef Ansel says).
