A woman who was repeatedly criticized for being “ugly” and “stupid” while growing up has risen above the bullies and proved them wrong. At the age of 58, she achieved her doctorate in psychology, and after a radical makeover, she can say with confidence that she is beautiful.
“I feel young in spirit,” Dr. Feresh told Hopkins’s studio cameras. “It’s very important for everybody to feel young, not by number but how you feel.”
Hopkins tackled Dr. Feresh’s graying roots by blending them into her long locks with a warm brown color. For makeup, the style expert softened the psychologist’s brows, used peach-pink tones to warm her complexion, and completed her new look with a winged black eyeliner and nude-toned lipstick for a youthful finish.
Upon seeing her reflection in the mirror, Dr. Feresh responded with a chorus of, “Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God,” in disbelief. “This is really before and after!”
“I’m super happy and I kind of feel sad that I’m leaving,” she explained in her post-makeover interview, crediting Hopkins for bringing out her full potential.
After Dr. Feresh’s makeover was posted on YouTube, hundreds of comments from stunned, supportive netizens flooded in.
While another added: “This is one of the happiest makeovers to me, omg, omg.... love her. She needed this in so many ways.”
