ST. LOUIS—Divine Performing Arts (DPA)‘s Chinese New Year Spectacular opened in St. Louis at the Touhill Performing Arts Center at the University of Missouri, St. Louis on Feb. 6.

Mr. Zhou Daoyuan, vice chairman of Taiwan’s Economic & Culture Office in Kansas City, stated that the show is truly spectacular.

Mr. Zhou and his wife drove four hours from Kansas City to watch the show. He accepted an interview with The Epoch Times during intermission. Zhou said, “Watching the DPA show is the best way to celebrate the Chinese New Year. I watched DPA’s performance in Los Angeles before. Each group has its ideology and DPA successfully expresses theirs through the form of art.”

He said that when he entered the theater, he saw many American people eagerly waiting for the show to start. He said, “The show was a great success last year. Tonight’s show is also very successful. I think it is really refreshing for Western audience. Congratulations to the DPA team again.”

Regarding the programs he saw in the show, Zhou said, “I love all of them. DPA’s artists express the inner meaning of Chinese culture. I am looking forward to the second half of the show.”
