KAOHSIUNG, Taiwan—On the evening of March 13, Shen Yun Performing Arts International Company gave their first show at the Kaohsiung County Government Labor Affairs Bureau. Watching the show for the second time, Chu Hungchang, manager of the Kaohsiung City Symphony Orchestra, said, “This show indeed touched the hearts of many.”

Mr. Chu received the “National Honored Teacher” award in 1995. He is now the choir conductor of Kaohsiung Medical University, Deputy Vice-Chancellor and music department head of Lok Yuk High School and music lecturer of National Hospitality Institute. His school choir has won first place at a local music competition for the past seven years.

He said, “I not only appreciate this artistic treat but also its many cultural values. Every program showcased its own exciting content and gave the audience an embedded message. I think this is great!

“I was moved after watching it. I think many others were left with deep impression of it [the show].”

“I feel wonderful now,” he said.
