Organizer Jeff Orlick has counted about 20 restaurants and street vendors within a half-mile of the Jackson Heights–Roosevelt Avenue station. Participants in the Momo Crawl will receive a map in exchange for three bills of any denominations outlining their locations. The dumplings will cost $1 each.

Participants also have the chance to win a dinner for two at GangJong Kitchen if they are “able to successfully whistle after eating a momo with chef Tenzin’s mind-numbing sauce,” according to a press release. Among other activities, count on a make-your-own-momo lesson at Little Tibet, drink specials, and momo henna tattoos.

At the end of the Momo Crawl, participants will vote on the best momo.

Maps can be picked up at 2 p.m. at the Jackson Heights Food Court.
