An Illinois mom posted photos that went viral on Facebook after she was placed in a dire situation, having ordered much needed groceries from Walmart that didn’t arrive.
The store delivered the goods to the wrong address.
When mom Keena Watts asked them to correct the mistake, she was told her money would be refunded in 5 to 10 business days; cashless, Keena and her family needed the groceries right away.
The situation looked hopeless—until a kind police officer from the Silvis Police Department saved the day.
“So This happened!! I had The WORST Experience with Walmart delivery services today, I mean they treated me so Terribly. I placed an express order to be delivered before my babies woke up And once again it was delivered to the wrong place. …
“To make a very long story short....I got a call around 6pm saying my money was refunded and would be in my account in 5-10biz days!!!”
The mom said she no longer receives assistance for food, and though it was difficult to spend cash, they absolutely needed everything she ordered.
Calling the police, the mom returned to the store. After confronting staff, she was shaking and almost in tears.
Then a miracle happened.
“Officer Myers asked me to show him my list off essential,” she wrote. “He took One look and said ‘Let’s Go back Inside and shop everything on your list!!’ He said he couldn’t let me go home to my kids empty handed!!”
Keena’s knees weakened and she couldn’t hold back her tears.
“I’m not used to accepting or asking ANYTHING from anybody,” she added. “And This officer insisted on getting our food, He walked me down every aisle, paid and put my groceries in the car!!!
“God is good and Every Officer isn’t Bad at all!! He really cared and I’m forever Grateful for you officers Myers‼️Thank You again Sir‼️”
Along with her heartfelt post, Keena shared photos of Officer Myers with her at the Walmart checkout, smiling with her and paying for her much needed goods.
