Chapter One in the West Village is traveling back in time the 1620s this Sunday. The destination is New England.
Executive chef Warren Baird features his interpretations of the dishes that settlers who landed in Plymouth might have eaten, and pays homage to the influence of Native Americans on American cuisine. The dishes featured will be made with ingredients abundantly found at that time, and will include hard cider, venison, and Indian pudding.
The Colonial Harvest Dinner costs $32 per person (plus tax and gratuity). It is part of a Heritage Dinner Series held every first Sunday of the month.
