Bristol Palin, daughter of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and Dancing With the Stars celebrity, is set to appear in a new video by an up-and-coming Alaskan rock band, according to a report on Monday.
The band is Static Cycle from Anchorage and formed in 2007, and the Los Angeles Times first reported that they are looking to get an even greater boost by placing Palin in their video. The teaser for the video was already put up on Youtube.
The video does not look finished yet but the band sent out a promotional news release about it.
“We met Bristol through family and mutual friends, and she was as excited about starring in our video as we were to work with her,” Static Cycle frontman Jared Navarre, who grew up with Palin in Wasilla, said in a statement.
“We all had a great time doing this shoot, and she looked absolutely gorgeous!”
The video is called “Inside This World of Mine” and was filmed at the Ice Museum in Chena, Alaska “with additional shots taped on an actual glacier,” the statement read.
Palin wore a mink fur coat and hat with ice on her eyelashes, carrying a rose inside of a glass jar in the video.
