Ben and Jerry’s: To celebrate its 35 years of existence, Ben and Jerry’s handed out free ice cream cones at select locations.

“April 9th is Free Cone Day! Swing by a participating Scoop Shop and grab yourself a FREE ice cream cone. Thank you for 35 years of love & support,” reads a message from the ice cream purveyor, according to SF Appeal. Between noon and 8 p.m., customers can go to any participating “scoop shop” to get any flavor they desire.

However, the free-cone handout crashed the company’s website and it’s shop locator as of Tuesday afternoon.

“The good news is that today’s free cones are available in our scoops shops from Noon-8pm...not on our website,” reads a Facebook post, adding that the new link for the store locator is located its other website.

“Free Cone Day is one of the most exciting days at Ben & Jerry’s,” Pam Leikin, manager of the University Heights scoop shop in Ohio, told News Net 5. “Every year we’re amazed at the number of people that come out to Free Cone Day and to be able to show our appreciation for the fans in a tangible way is really special.”
