Long an icon atop 30 Rockefeller Plaza, Rainbow Room has reopened. Designed by architectural firm Gabellini Sheppard Associates, Rainbow Room has been restored to glamour, with its signature landmarked design elements, including the crystal chandelier and crystal wall sconces.

It is now open for brunch on Sundays, for dinner on Monday evenings, and most holidays for dinners. The rest of the time, it will operate as event space.

Monday nights will feature rotating entertainment.

Known for his globally inspired brunch at The Setai, Wright will install stations for Sunday brunch, with chefs de cuisine serving different specialties. There will be a raw bar, and a roasted meat station with dishes like Herb Roasted Amish Chicken, as well Char Siew Barbeque Pork Steamed Buns.

A brunch for children under 12 (complete with kid-height buffet) will also be available.

Next to the Rainbow Room, the SixtyFive cocktail lounge is open five nights a week, offering classics such as the 1915 Gin & Tonic. An outdoor terrace offers views of Manhattan’s skyline.
