There are some art nouveau buildings where you can find a nice café to enjoy both the food and the architecture. Walking happens to be one of the best things to do here as driving is quite pricey.
Bangkok, Thailand
There is no denying that the nickname Venice of the East is well deserved if it refers to Bangkok. There is so much that you can look forward to when you are in this city as it is a good combination of the traditional and modern. With its numerous temples and at the same time cool accommodations, you are in for a treat when you are here. Exploring the waterways by boat is certainly a must while you are here and don’t miss the local eats which is really superb. Prices are also very cheap so there is no need to be overly concerned about the cost of going here is really affordable.
San Jose City, Costa Rica
By European and American standards, this city is rather cheap although it happens to be quite pricey when you are basing your judgment on the usual rates in Central America. Nevertheless, it is undeniable that this place has so much charm and walking is the best way to go around the city. The temperatures here are perfect irrespective of the time of the year and it is a convenient base when you are in the mood for a bit of exploration.
Melbourne, Australia
Anyone who loves traveling solo would have a lot of appreciation for this city which is not only rich in culture but is also a great point for appreciating a large natural bay. Beaches are quite the thing here, so be sure to bring your swimming outfit. Biking and walking here are definitely a good idea but it’s a bit pricey. Cheap transportation is widely available here but biking and walking remains to be a good choice.
