Meet the 2-year-old “chef” who has learned to make spaghetti bolognese, chili con carne, Welsh cakes, and more.

When Oswyn was born, her mother Madison Ward, 28, didn’t get to bond with her as much as she wanted to.

“She loved her dad, so my only way of getting her to bond with me [was] getting her involved with something that I like, and that is cooking,” Ms. Ward from Pembrokeshire, South West Wales, said.

So, when the toddler was 11 months old and had just learned how to walk, she began to cook alongside her mom.

“The cookie brownie was the first thing she mixed herself,” Ms. Ward said. “I will never forget the amount of chocolate she poured everywhere, and it all went down the face of the cooker.”

The talented toddler takes charge in the kitchen by measuring the ingredients and knowing when the food is cooked.

As well as helping out in the kitchen, Oswyn is a big fan of Gordon Ramsey and Gino D'Acampo and is obsessed with watching their shows every day.

Owsyn binge-watches “Junior MasterChef,” “Hell’s Kitchen,” and “Gordon, Gino and Fred’s Road Trip.” While she’s eating breakfast too, she’s hooked to the screen and enjoys watching them cook.

She spends hours staring at them without doing anything else, but Ms. Ward knows she’s taking it all in.

“She absolutely loves cooking, and it is nothing that I have pushed ... she has just done it herself,” Ms. Ward said.

The toddler helped her mother make a perfect roast chicken dinner and chose all the seasonings herself.

“She wanted lemon juice, chili, and a bunch of bay leaves,” Ms. Ward said. “It tasted really nice.”

Over the last few months, the toddler has helped her mother make a number of classics such as Welsh cakes, cupcakes, chocolate blondies, shortbread, and trifle.

Ms. Ward said the capable toddler has been so good at indicating what she needs and has taken the entire duty upon herself.

“The only thing I do is film and edit for social media,” she said.

The mother-daughter duo spends each day in the kitchen whipping up delicious homemade food such as cookies or pasta.

“She is my best friend,” Ms. Ward said. “We do everything together now.”

The tiny food enthusiast refers to Mr. Ramsay as the “angry chef” and aspires to be known as the “funny chef” when she grows up.
