BOSTON—The evening held a splendid performance of Shen Yun Performing Arts for Himanshu Prasad and Madhavi Nori at the Boch Center’s Wang Theatre on April 4.

“Yes, it’s very good. I mean, I think we can relate to it,” Mr. Prasad said.

Ms. Nori said she felt a bond with traditional Chinese culture. “It feels very familiar, very nice and familiar.”
Shen Yun’s mission is to revive China’s 5,000 years of divinely inspired traditional culture before communism.
Shen Yun features an audience favorite of the 3D patented backdrop that interacts with dancers. As the stories are being acted out, performers jump into other dimensions or fly into the air.

Mr. Prasad said he liked “the interface to the screen. The animation is beautifully done.”

Mr. Prasad, general manager at Schneider Electric, said the performance “is brilliant. Really enjoy it.”

Shen Yun’s live orchestra features a unique combination of Western and Eastern instruments that play harmoniously with the action on the stage.

Ms. Nori, a director of data governance at Fidelity, agreed. “I love it. Very nice. Very good music.”

Mr. Prasad appreciated the storytelling coming alive on the stage as well as the music as the couple were sitting near the orchestra.

“All good, all good. We enjoy every moment,” he said.

The couple had words of encouragement for the performers. “Great job, everyone. Loving it. Keep going,” Ms. Nori said.

Mr. Prasad agreed: “Yes, you’re doing an awesome job. Keep it up. Thank you.”
