From the beginning of the Wuhan virus outbreak, media reports repeatedly mentioned a correlation between preexisting medical conditions like compromised immune systems and the need for hospitalization with intensive care, e.g., ventilation, and lethality. There was never any mention of just how these preexisting medical conditions were being treated or of any possibility that there may be some correlation with virulence.
Was this just journalistic incompetence, or something deliberate? I have long suspected that a big role is played by the widespread use of various steroid medications. These days, if you go to your doctor for something, more than likely you will walk out with a prescription for some sort of steroid. If there is a correlation between prolonged steroid medication and Wuhan virus lethality, that would be an obvious hit to the pharmaceutical companies that aggressively market these drugs. Profits would sink. So is the mainstream media only looking out for the interests of pharmaceutical companies?
