Archaeologists discovered a mass grave near Athens, and some historians believe it may house the remains of insurgents involved in an attempted 7th century B.C. coup.
The Antikythera Mechanism was found by divers in 1900 and was used around 80 B.C. in ancient Greece. It is an astronomical device with which one could tell the positions of the stars, planets, sun, and moon as well as predict lunar and solar eclipses for decades to follow.
