TAICHUNG, Taiwan—Divine Performing Arts (DPA) International Company graced the Hui-Sun Auditorium in Taichung on March 4, bringing another full house.

In the audience was Yue Hong, a senior Taiwanese actress, TV host, and singer. Ms. Yue assumed roles in many movies.

“Just as the emcees said, it was like watching a large-scale historical drama. I found it rather magical. They combined backdrops and stage dancing as if they were inseparable. They are certainly very dedicated.”

The depiction of filial piety in the program Mulan Joins the Battle, left a deep impression on Ms. Yue.

“I loved the colors of The Mystical Phoenix. They were mysterious and gorgeous. It is rare to have mysteriousness in colorfulness.”

She said that every part of the performance carried a special theme and meaning. It is hard to deeply touch all audiences, yet DPA performers did.

“I was very surprised, truly very surprised.”
