The article by Alex Newman in your July 21–27, 2021, issue concerning the planned issuance by the International Monetary Fund of $650 BILLION in so-called special drawing rights (SDRs) was informative, alarming, and disheartening. We should all be outraged by the purported scheme to replace the U.S. dollar as the world’s reserve currency with a global digital currency. Especially damning is the fact that the IMF/Biden administration kept the SDR amount below the statutory threshold that requires approval by the U.S. Congress. It appears that our elected representatives are being intentionally bypassed in matters of extreme importance!
