PARIS, France—Mr. Hernan Poblete, president of an audio-visual company, accompanied by his wife Mirani, head of marketing, and their two children were among the many spectators at Shen Yun Performing Arts’ final show on March 13, 2011 at the Congress Palace.
The New-York based company tours the world bringing classical Chinese dance, and world-class musicians and vocalists to wherever they go.
Shen Yun “is a show of great quality.” said Hernan Poblete, “This is surely a classical show, very fine,” he added.
The whole Poblete family took great pleasure in watching the show: “We enjoyed ourselves, even our daughter who is only 5 years old followed the whole show. She especially liked the number with the bandits” and the hero Lu Zhishen of Chinese literature from 600 years ago, a scene in the second part of the program.
Shen Yun Performing Arts Touring company aims to bring the beauty and purity of five millenia of Chinese culture through the stories their dances depict.
Mr. Poblete appreciated the choreography in particular: “I am very sensitive to the subtleties of the dances and costumes.”
“We’re very happy,” he said with a smile of delight.
As for the music, “I, simply love music, I was fascinated, it’s beautiful” Mr. Poblete said. “It is a high quality show of a very high level,” he concluded.
Mrs. Merani Poblete expressed her opinion this way: “The show is not only of great artistic quality, but it also carries a message. From the artistic point of view, it’s magnificent, very well done, of incredible sophistication, ... It’s a show that dares to tell it [as it is].”
