A young mom’s first two boys were born with very little or no hair. But her third son, Navy, surprised them all at birth with his cute little head full of thick, silky brown hair.

Chenice, a content creator, lives in Essex, England, with her husband and three children, all boys. Last year, when she became pregnant with Navy and went for an ultrasound, the doctor told her about their unborn son’s hair.

“That was funny. I was like, ‘Well, it can’t be that much,’” Chenice, 26, told The Epoch Times. “And then, when he was born, we just looked at him, and we were laughing our heads off, ‘Oh my goodness, look at his head.’”

Having a child born with so much hair, Chenice said jokingly, possibly confirms an old wives’ tale: If a baby has a lot of hair, it will cause the mom heartburn during pregnancy.

Though Chenice also had heartburn with her first two boys, Navy was a different story.

“I had a lot of heartburn, like, to the point every night I had such bad acid reflux,” she told the Epoch Times.

The couple hasn’t put anything in Navy’s hair to make it look different. He was born with “a perfectly neat side part.” Chenice has had to use the comb though, which Navy doesn’t mind.

“I think, because he was born with so much hair, and I’ve had to do it from the day he was born,” she said.

When she started posting pictures of Navy’s thick hair, many commenters said it wouldn’t last. But that hasn’t been the case.

“His hair has just grown and grown,” Chenice said. “Now it’s starting to get like little flick-ups at the end, where it’s getting longer because we all have curly hair.”

In one video she shared on Instagram, Chenice combs Navy’s hair as he smiles contentedly. The easygoing baby, she says, coos and is happy in the video because she is right there with him, smiling right back at him.

The viral video had its fair share of humorous remarks as viewers were overwhelmed by the adorable Navy.

“Bro is ready to be president,” one commenter said.

Another said, “He’s 40 and works in finance.”

In amazement at the amount of hair, one person said, “Wow…They would have almost needed to subtract the weight of this mop when they recorded his birth weight.”

Chenice points out that she thinks all of her boys were equally adorable at birth, but the humorous hair is what has garnered Navy extra attention.

“All babies are absolutely adorable. But when you get a baby who’s got the hair of a 1-year-old, and they’ve just been born, it is hilarious,” she said.
