Uniworld Boutique River Cruises is celebrating its 50th anniversary of sailing the world’s rivers in 2026 with a new riverboat, three new Mystery Cruises, a family-centric sailing and a 50-night world cruise.

The river cruise line will debut its first new ship since 2021 next year. The S.S. Emilie, inspired by Gustav Klimt and his life partner, Emilie Flöge, will sail the Danube River on eight different itineraries. The ship will accommodate 154 passengers and includes a two-bedroom suite option.

Uniworld’s popular Mystery Cruise series returns in 2026 with three hidden itineraries, two departing on April 26, 2026, and the third departing on May 3, 2026.

Uniworld is offering its grandest adventure yet for its 50th anniversary: the 50-night ‘Rivers of the World’ cruise, departing April 16, 2026, and visiting three continents. The first leg of the journey begins on the new S.S. Emilie in Brussels. One Mystery Cruise is integrated into the itinerary, followed by a Seine River cruise, a Nile River cruise and a stay in Jordan.

“As we look to celebrate our 50th anniversary next year, we’re incredibly proud of what we’ve accomplished,” says Ellen Bettridge, President and CEO of Uniworld. “Uniworld debuted in 1976 as a tour company that soon became the first North American company to offer cruises throughout Europe.”

Travelers with children will enjoy two family-centric river cruise opportunities next year with new Generations Collection sailings. The two, departing July 19 and July 26, will sail the line’s Burgundy & Provence itinerary with a family focus, with two family hosts onboard who provide kid-friendly dining and activities.

The river cruise line also added new itineraries throughout Europe, including three Danube itineraries on the S.S. Emilie, journeys with combinable land stays and more. One such new itinerary is the 17-day Danube Grandeur & Prague trip, which visits seven countries and combines two popular itineraries that focus on the region’s capitals.
