CEO and founder of MyPillow Mike Lindell predicts a light at the end of the pandemic tunnel despite all the fear and uncertainty (and staying home), with the hope that it is going to lead to “a great revival” for the American people in the economy and in God.
Lindell shared his positive predictions of hope with The Epoch Times following his appearance at a press briefing at the White House last week, and the consequent backlash from some in the media who attacked him for his openly religious message.
“This whole thing is gonna bring us together as people and give us one common hope, and that common hope is God,” Lindell told The Epoch Times. “I believe, we’re in the greatest revival in history. I believe what’s going on in our country, there’s so many things that are spiritual warfare, and some of these things are biblical. These are biblical times here.”
“They were a big part of leading this country into a godless society. I think that’s what they want,” Lindell said of the media to The Epoch Times. “They took God out of our schools; this country turned its back on God. We were going down a very bad path.”
Looking ahead, though, Lindell foresees a brighter picture, believing this pandemic presents an opportunity for greater changes in society by bringing “millions upon millions” back to God.
Lindell also praised the president’s efforts and said that the pandemic has taught that the United States must limit its dependency on overseas producers and increase manufacturing in the United States, particularly in medical supplies. MyPillow will be a part of that effort, the CEO says, as he is already looking to expand into sanitizer. And after the company’s push to produce masks is through, Lindell plans to promote his book and debut his commercial.
“We all had a taste of great hope, the way things could be,” Lindell said, speaking of the economy under the Trump administration prior to the virus. “Donald Trump’s in place for a short three years, we have the best economy going that I’ve ever known, the best unemployment rates, everybody’s wages were going up, consumer confidence was in an all-time high.
“Those are great things that happened before, that’s a blessing, because that gives everybody hope to what we can get back to. And I believe it’s gonna even be stronger and safer than ever.”
