This might be the most unusual waterfall in the world. It is certainly one of the most beautiful.
Baatara gorge waterfall is 44 mil northeast from Beirut, in the Tannourine, Lebanon and it was discovered in 1952 by French bio-speleologist Henri Coiffait. Water falls down 837 feet behind the three natural bridges into a cave of ancient of Jurassic limestone.
Tourist are warn to stay out of the bridges for a few of them collapsing in the recent past.
The waterfall is mainly visible in March and April because is fed by Lebanon Mountain Trail spring snow melt and at this time it is a big attraction of this area.
