SYDNEY—It was an enthusiastic and responsive audience that turned out to see Shen Yun Performing Arts at the Sydney’s Capitol Theatre On Saturday, Feb. 19.

Many of Sydney’s multicultural community were there including representatives from a number of ethnic media organisations plus SBS radio.

Dinkha Warda, the President of the Assyrian Australian Association and his wife Florence said they have seen a lot of shows “but this one is fantastic ... everything about it.”

Mr. Warda said the dancers were professionals, “The art and the skill was beautiful.”

As Assyrians they were accustomed to cultures from the Middle East, Mr. Warda said but Chinese culture was “entirely different”.

He said he had enjoyed the show, particularly the music which was very, very nice. Shen Yun was “very professional—very good,” he said.

Mrs. Warda said she had been amazed at the costumes, “the way they dress up” and the music had been so relaxing.

Mr. Warda said he was very intrigued to know more about China’s history after seeing Shen Yun.
