NEW YORK—The Tao restaurant opened a new location on Oct. 10, called TAO Downtown on 16th St. and 9th Ave.
The restaurant is a 22,000-square-foot space beneath the Maritime Hotel.
Similar to its uptown counterpart, Tao Downtown offers a menu created by chef and partner Ralph Scamardella, featuring dishes such as dim sum, sushi, yakitori, as well as shareable small and large plates.
