The Year of the Snake is a cocktail of charm, charisma, and the kind of reinvention that would make Madonna weep into her rhine-stoned corset.

Snakes, according to Chinese astrology, are master strategists, relentlessly ambitious, and possess the patience of a Bond villain in a three-act monologue. Which makes sense, because the world’s most influential, and controversial celebrities were born under this sign.

Taylor Swift? Snake-born. Kanye West? Snake-born. J.K. Rowling? Snake-born.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.? And not just another name in the dynasty, but a relentless force challenging power structures with the precision of a strategist who plays the long game, fights the hard fights, and refuses to back down, no matter the cost.

Other notable Snake-borns include Grace Kelly, Jean-Paul Sartre, John F. Kennedy, Linda McCartney, and Benazir Bhutto. Each leaves an indelible mark on history with their unique blend of charm, intellect, and unyielding determination.

The question is: Are these celebrities naturally gifted tacticians, or just exceptionally good at reading a room (and hiring the right PR people)?

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: Who Refuses to Be Ignored

If Snakes are known for their ability to strategise, challenge the status quo, and fight battles no one else dares to, then Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is living proof of his zodiac’s legacy.

Born into one of America’s most powerful dynasties, he could have taken the easy road, riding on his family name and playing the political game the way it has always been played.

But instead, he has made his life’s mission about something far greater than himself, protecting the health of American children and challenging systems that put profits over people.

From his early days as an environmental lawyer taking on corporate polluters to his current campaign, Kennedy has been relentless in his pursuit of public health advocacy.

While others in Washington trade favours and toe the party line, he speaks out on issues most politicians are too afraid to touch from clean water to corporate accountability to medical freedom.

The Year of the Snake favours the patient, the bold, and the determined, and Kennedy’s career is a testament to all three.

Taylor Swift: Who Took It Personally

If the Year of the Snake had a human avatar, it would be Taylor Alison Swift.

The woman embraced her snake status so hard that she literally built an entire album campaign around it such as 2017’s Reputation, where she swallowed the bad press whole and spat it back out in Grammy-winning form.

And let’s not forget The Eras Tour, a masterclass in patience, precision, and billion-dollar execution. Taylor isn’t just a Snake-year success story; she’s the textbook case study, turning every incident into a chart-topping, stadium-filling redemption arc.

J.K. Rowling: The Woman Who Cannot Be Cancelled

If the Year of the Snake is about control and reinvention, J.K. Rowling is its chosen disciple. A woman who went from unpublished single mother to literary overlord, and then, just to keep things spicy, decided to go full Bond villain on X (according to some).

But the thing is, Snakes don’t just survive scandals, they consume them, digest them, and somehow still get paid at the end of it.

Rowling, for better or worse, remains unshakeable, still raking in royalties, and still making headlines.

Other Notable Snake-Born Celebs Who Have Found Success

  1. Daniel Radcliffe. The Snake-born Harry Potter himself. Unlike his literary creator, he has avoided public battles, built a solid indie-film career, and quietly turned himself into a fan favourite. One who plays the long game and wins without making a sound.
  2. Bob Dylan. Reinvented himself so many times that if he weren’t Bob Dylan, he would probably have an identity crisis. Folk hero, rock star, gospel preacher, Nobel Laureate, Dylan transforms effortlessly.
  3. Sarah Jessica Parker. Built an empire on Manolo Blahniks and cosmos, proving that Snakes know when to wait, when to strike, and when to bring back Carrie Bradshaw for another lucrative round of emotional mayhem.
The Year of the Snake doesn’t just produce clever celebrities; it creates legends, villains, and people who manage to be both simultaneously.

They don’t just survive the havoc of fame, they take the reins. Whether it’s Swift reclaiming her narrative, West conducting cultural hurricanes, or Rowling setting the internet on fire for sport, one thing is clear:

The Snake-born always have a plan.
