RALEIGH, North Carolina—On a unseasonably blustery, cold Saturday afternoon in North Carolina, Shen Yun Performing Arts warmed the hearts of theatergoers in Raleigh with a dynamic and moving display of classical Chinese dance at the Progress Energy Center Raleigh Memorial Auditorium.
Jim, who is in the building industry, is from Fayetteville, and a season ticket holder at the theater. He took the one-hour drive to attend the afternoon show in Raleigh.
“I loved it. The colors are vibrant, really nice,” he said.
Jim said one thing he became more aware of about Chinese culture after watching the show was the discipline displayed in the arts.
Jim was particularly impressed by the dancers. “The dancers are so agile. They’re so flexible, and they’re great dancers,” he said.
“Come see it. Magnificent!” he said.
