Foodies with an appetite for books will be spoiled for choice at the third annual Food Book Fair, to be held at the Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg, on April 25–27.

Events include: a Food Book Slam, a Moth-style storytelling event where the winner is picked by the audience; salons and panel discussions ranging from the delicious to the serious (pies and ice cream, the Midwest’s culinary identity, food, and race, and GMOs are among the topics); a pop-up bookstore with over 200 titles, opening April 18; a dinner inspired by “To Kill a Mockingbird” at Egg; and even a dual lecture and tasting on umami.

Some events are free; others are ticketed; passes also available. For more info, visit foodbookfair.com
