NEW YORK—Pergola, a multi-level Mediterranean restaurant in the Flatiron district, will officially open on Jan. 8.
The menu was crafted by Chef Nestor Moina, who brings his experience from Remi Restaurant and Nerai to make Greek and Middle Eastern dishes such as the Pergola Mixed Grill (chargrilled baby lamb chop, merguez, kofta and kabob); Pergola Lamb Burger (with roasted tomato, feta cheese, arugula, hand cut lemon and garlic); Grilled Prawns (with tomato ouzo sauce, yellow polenta and spinach); and a Shawarma Plate (slow roasted and thinly sliced with tahini, pita and greens).
Signature cocktails from mixologist Scott Fitzgerald (formerly of Mulberry Project) will feature drinks such as the Jalisco Rose (Reposado Tequila shaken with amber agave, apples, rosemary and lime juice); Spearmint 75 (vodka with lemon, torn spearmint, agave, lemon rind and a splash of Prosecco); and Lavender-Lime Collins (gin with lime juice, Luxardo maraschino and lavender-violet liqueur topped with soda and a mint bushel of thyme).
The 3,700 square foot restaurant seats 120 and the bar is 20 feet long.
Not to mention, Pergola has a 12-flavored hookah menu.
There will be complimentary Wi-Fi and free delivery.
