On June 15, the largest sake gathering in the world will take place at the Japanese Sake Fair 2019 in Ikebukuro’s Sunshine City, Tokyo, Japan.
On that day, brewers associations from 45 different prefectures will present their local products, which you can sample or purchase on at the 13th All Japan Sake Fair. In addition, a public tasting will bring approximately 400 award-winning sakes. These were awarded prizes at the Annual Japan Sake Awards this past May.
You can enjoy tasting the finest fresh sake, made with craftsmanship and passion, by brewers from around the country. Also, there will be 14 seminars so you can explore Japanese sake in fun ways—including, for example, the etiquette of drinking it and how to truly savor its taste.
It will be a great opportunity to taste Japanese sake. Not only you can enjoy a wide variety of Japanese sake, but you can also taste award-winning ones. Just pick up a sake cup (free ochoko) and walk around to enjoy them all.
To savor the various flavors of Japanese sake, compare the different flavors, experience Japanese culture, and buy your favorite Japanese sake, head to the fair.
