‘Swan Lake’: American Ballet Theatre
The classic story of the princess turned into a swan by an evil sorcerer is brought to life in this quintessential performance by the American Ballet Theatre, accompanied by Tchaikovsky’s original 1876 score. The ballet is set in what is being billed as a “visually spectacular” lakeside Renaissance court. Approximately 2 hours 25 minutes.

‘Le Comte Ory’: Live in HD
See opera at your local movie theater when the Metropolitan Opera offers a live performance of Rossini’s 1828 comedic opera “Le Comte Ory” with high-definition video. To gain the hand of Countess Adele, Count Ory disguises himself as a hermit and his page Isolier as a female pilgrim. The live performance was previously recorded in April 2011. For the New York Philharmonic’s season finale, Grammy-winning classical pianist Emanuel Ax is featured on an all-Mozart program that includes Piano Concerto No. 22 and Mass in C minor (“Great”).
