One of the favorite countries in Europe is the Czech Republic. There never seems to be a shortage of things to do in this country. There are so many sites and small towns that exploring everything this county had to offer a traveler, would take a life-time. It is also cheap if you get travel discounts. Here are things that you should do on any visit to the when backpacking Czech Republic.
Things to do in the Czech Republic
Explore by Country By Train
One of the main things to do in the Czech Republic is ride the trains Exploring the country by train lets you take in the beautiful landscape and get to smaller towns. Trains are one of the best ways to travel Europe and I prefer it much better than flying budget airlines. A lot of people want to take buget airlines to save some money, and time.
Trains are equal in cost to most budget airlines (if not cheaper) and you get to experince more and at least look at the small towns in passing. If you have limited time in Europe I understand you want to fly everywhere, but if you have the time nothing beats traveling Europe by bus or train.
Wander the Streets of Prague.
There is nowhere else in the world like Prague. You have stunning bridges, and well persevered old town and a castle on a hill. You could spend days wander the shops and explore the city squares. One of Prague most popular sites it the Astronomical Clock. This clock his be ticking for over 500 years, and is something you should visit on any trip to Prague.
Drink Some Beer.
No trip to the Czech Republic is complete without drinking a few pints beer. In fact, more beer is drunk per capita than anywhere else. This means two things. One is that their beer is very tasty and two that you have a lot variety to choose from.
Cesky Krumlov
One of highlights of the Czech Republic are the sleepily little town. No town is better than Cesky Krumlov.
If you are looking for a good place to sit back, relax, and enjoy a wonderful medieval town, this is your place. It also has a series of canals you can raft making it perfect for a travel adventure. A few hostels in Cesky also offer a raft pub crawl. Yes, you read that right; you can literally spend the afternoon rafting from one bar to the next. It makes for an amusing experience.
Visiting the Czech Republic should be high on anyone list. These are a few activities that will lead in the right direction to have one of the most unforgettable vacations on your life.
