From Sept. 7 to Sept. 10, 140 dancers from North America, Europe, and Asia are competing in the 10th NTD International Classical Chinese Dance Competition in Purchase, New York.
The preliminary round is taking place Sept. 7 and Sept. 8, and the semifinal round on Sept. 9 and finals on Sept. 10 will be livestreamed.
Dancers are competing in four divisions: junior male and female, and adult male and female.
The first day ended with 31 junior division dancers making it to the semifinal round.
