John’s Pizzeria was one of the restaurants chosen to serve some of the top culinary talent in the world, the finalists of the Specialty Food Association’s sofi Awards, at New York City’s Javits Center earlier this month. The Epoch Times visited John’s Pizzeria and asked the restaurant to recreate what its chef served.

Johns Pizzeria near Times Square, located in a building that was once a church, has the unique distinction of being the largest pizzeria in the country. John’s bruschetta, is the traditional appetizer with new flair—the classic tomato, garlic and basil, but also pesto sauce as a base between the baguette-slice and the tomato mix. The bruschetta is meant to whet the diner’s appetite for John’s signature creation, bruschetta pizza, the pizzeria’s top-selling specialty pizza.
