Scott Andrews, founder and CEO of Packard Motors, first discovered Packard cars when he spotted one for sale on a road in Ohio. Upon visiting two museums on the Packard Motor Car Company, he learned about the company’s vast history, with a legacy started by the Packard brothers in Warren, Ohio, in 1899. Mr. Andrews is reviving the iconic American brand with the original company’s ethos, together with all-new inventions and services, to bring it to new generations. The first company led the world in developing new technologies, and now it’s ready to lead again.
“Packard invented four-wheel brakes, introduced air-conditioning in automobiles, and more, while making their cars elegant works of art. They powered the fight against communism in World War II with their combustion engines in military airplanes, tanks, and boats,” he said. “We need that caliber of leadership right now in so many ways. It’s time to bring back the American way of inventing, creating elegant designs, and doing life in America. Packard was a sleeping giant waiting to be awakened and revived. It’s back and ready to serve the American people once again.”
Packard Motors is debuting a new internet service, named Packard Post, during the 2023 holiday season. “Americans are fed up with their civil rights being taken away online. The tech alternatives striving to replace them are using the same architecture as Big Tech. Americans should have all control of their internet services, and own their data as private property. Packard Post will deliver this and more,” said Mr. Andrews.
