An adorable goose joined its family on a shopping trip for animal snacks—even jumping in the trolley and riding through the store with the young boy.

When Faith Lyons’s pet African grey goose, Angie, “asked” for some food on Nov. 19, her owner knew they needed to do a quick shop for her favorite treats.

Cute footage from a Tractor Supply store in Fruitport, Michigan, shows the 6-month-old goose wandering through the automatic doors wearing a pink harness keeping her close to her owner.

Angie then hopped into a cart with Ms. Lyons’s son Max, 2, and they were pushed around the store together, grabbing snacks.

“This was actually the first time we’ve ever put a harness on Angie or taken her anywhere. She was really well-behaved,” Ms. Lyons said. “The other customers were pretty amused.

“The lady up front called the rest of the employees when we walked in, and they all came up to pet Angie.”

The family bought dog treats and some treats specially for waterfowl. The family also has ducks, as well as chickens, for which they also stocked up on feed.

“Normally Angie just gets apples from our tree, but it’s starting to be out of season,” Ms. Lyons said.

“We raised Angie and her sister Quasar from when they were two days old and interacted with them a lot.

“They’re a real part of our family now.

“In total we have six chickens, five ducks, two geese, three dogs, and two cats.”
