‘Detained’

After being involved in a car accident, Rebecca Kamen (Abbie Cornish) wakes up in a police station, only to discover that detectives want to charge her with a hit and run. As she races against the clock, Rebecca must uncover a wicked conspiracy or lose everything—including her life.

This is a slow-burn thriller that ramps the tension up gradually, then throws a few twists in to keep you guessing. It features crisp dialogue, skilled cinematography, and dark moody backdrops that add to its sinister ambiance.

‘The Emperor’s New Groove’

Bratty Emperor Kuzco (David Spade) is at odds with his dastardly advisor Yzma (Eartha Kitt). In an effort to steal the throne, Yzma transforms Kuzco into a llama. Kuzco joins forces with those he once thought beneath him, and learns some valuable lessons on his journey to reclaiming the throne.

This film excels at humor with superb voice acting and top-notch animation. It’s entertaining for adults while not containing any vulgar content. The engaging storyline offers unique twists and turns, as well as plenty of positive messages.

As mafia threats escalate, Maria schemes to swap Dante for Johnny, hoping to evade danger and start anew.

This hilarious comedy intertwines mistaken identities, romance, and intrigue in an unexpected and entertaining adventure, featuring outstanding performances by its amazing cast and excellent direction.

‘Come Live With Me’

Refugee Johnny Jones (Hedy Lamarr) overstays her visa and resorts to marrying a U.S. citizen, Bill Smith (James Stewart), a struggling writer. However, unexpected events disrupt her carefully executed plan.

The chemistry between the leads is entrancing, enhanced by a strong script that makes their scenes together exquisite. The supporting cast adds further panache to the film.
