DAEGU, South Korea—Divine Performing Arts (DPA) International made the Daegu audience gasp with admiration after they saw a truly exquisite and beautiful performance on its third day, Feb. 1.
A man named Wang from mainland China said that he couldn’t help shedding tears several times during the show.
“I have finally seen the Buddha nature of ‘Returning to true self and naturalness’ which I have sought for so long. That’s why I was so moved to tears.”
“Both the stage backdrops in full, vivid colors and the performing level of DPA were so fantastic, extraordinary and unparalleled. Divine Performing Arts can really purify one’s spirit. This is how deeply I feel about it.”
Wang said he has been looking for justice and truth all his life and now he has found them in Korea.
After a brief moment of thought and a chance to regain his composure, Wang said, “This performance was so pure and this was the first time in my life that I have ever seen such pure art. My fascination with the show is beyond words.”
“I love traditional Chinese culture very much, but I didn’t have a clear picture of it before, and now, through seeing DPA, I have come to a much better realization. I believe China’s traditional culture was bestowed from heaven, and there are rich and profound connotations and meanings associated with its cultural heritage. Words cannot convey how I feel.”
“I have really seen hope—faith in God, the hopes of Chinese people and all mankind. Now I only long for more and more people to be able to see this hope and the bright and beautiful future.”
