PHILADELPHIA—Ms. Cooper, a painter, attended the final show of the Divine Performing Arts New York Company in Philadelphia, and had great praise for what she had seen:
“I loved it, all of the vibrant colors were so beautiful. They just poured their soul into every movement, it was pretty incredible, very moving. And it was so fluid it was like they were walking on air, it was really gorgeous.”
She also appreciated the integration of high-tech graphics, “They incorporated it into their overall scheme ... it was really neat, it was interesting.”
Some of the spiritual themes in the performance also resonated with her, Ms. Cooper said. “I have a Bodhisattva [tatooed] on my back, so I know a little bit about that. I definitely think that they are getting the word out, and just trying to help people be more compassionate and dig deep, and find the love and spread the love.”
“I wish them well on the rest of their tour. I hope that people get the underlying meaning behind everything that they are pouring into what they are doing!”
