LONDON—Mr. and Mrs. Gee were able to see the Shen Yun Performing Arts 2009 World Tour for the first time on its final appearance in London on Saturday, March 7.
“I do like the show. I think it’s very nice, very nice indeed,” said Mrs. Gee.
Mrs. Gee said she was a non-executive director of a retail company and that had enabled her to travel widely, including to China. She was fascinated with Chinese culture but had never seen anything like DPA.
“I think you’ve done a good thing here. I think it’s very nice. The orchestra’s good, very visual. You can see them well,” she said.
The Shen Yun orchestra combines Western and Chinese musical instruments to create a unique and beautiful sound. Currently, it is the world’s only orchestra that embraces both Western and Chinese instruments.
