LITTLE ROCK, Ark.—On Feb. 9, after the Divine Performing Arts (DPA) show concluded in Little Rock, Arkansas , a mainland Chinese lady, unable to hold back her excitement, told the reporter her feelings about the show.
“Wonderful! Wonderful! Wonderful!” the lady praised DPA’s excellence. “I love art very much too. I have viewed many large-scale performances in mainland China. However the level of the show tonight is very, very high. It is really wonderful.
“I feel it is very important that my children, who were born in the United States, get to know Chinese culture.
“I usually find some materials for them, some of which are very traditional. I would like to let the children—especially the children who grow up in the U.S.—know Chinese traditions and culture from a young age. Sometimes we choreograph Chinese dance for children in church. However, if Divine Performing Arts can hold performances like this frequently I will just bring the children to watch the shows and enlighten to the essence of Chinese culture,” she said.
