KAOHSIUNG, Taiwan—Hsiao Zongyih, deputy chief of Kaohsiung Police Department, accompanied his wife to New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts 2009 World Tour matinee performance on March 15.
Mr. Hsiao said that when the curtain opened for the first program, The Five Millennia Begin, he felt that mankind was one with Heaven.
“It’s really worth seeing,” he stated.
He said that the spirit of Chinese traditional culture was manifested by dance and modern technology. Shen Yun has an historical mission and brings these values to modern society.
“It’s worth seeing over and over again. Every program leaves memories. The colorful Chinese style costumes were very gorgeous—delicate, gentle, and attractive. It was a perfect combination.”
