Knowing how much her mother wanted a grandchild, one young woman decided to announce her pregnancy in a slightly unconventional manner. She wanted to capture her parents’ first reaction for posterity, and it looks like she hit jackpot.
One morning, the Rays were paid a visit from their daughter and son-in-law. The newlywed woman had brought a large bag of clothes and wanted her mother to look through it to see if there was anything she would like to salvage before they got donated.
As Suzie Ray sifted through the pile of tops and T-shirts, her husband and their son-in-law started discussing the loan he had just taken out to add a pool to their new house. Neither parent noticed that their daughter’s husband was video-recording the mom throughout the conversation.
Suzie went through each item of clothing one by one.
After uncovering an extra-large T-shirt that gave them pause, Suzie pulled out a couple of pairs of white onesies. “Are you kidding me?!” was all he could say before embracing his daughter in a warm hug.
“I’m so excited!!” her mom cried shrilly. Even the family dog trotted over to see what all the fuss was about.
Meanwhile, the soon-to-be father could be heard laughing joyfully in the background as the whole thing went down—it was simply over the top.
Understandably, the recording went viral soon after the expecting couple posted it on their Facebook page.
