Benchmark U.S. crude oil for December delivery fell $2.59 to $85.49 a barrel Monday. Brent crude for December delivery fell $2.33 to $89.83 a barrel.
Wholesale gasoline for November delivery fell 5 cents to $2.33 a gallon. November heating oil fell 6 cents to $3.10 a gallon. November natural gas rose 3 cents to $2.93 per 1,000 cubic feet.
Gold for December delivery fell $6.60 to $1,987.80 an ounce. Silver for December delivery fell 29 cents to $23.21 an ounce and December copper rose 2 cents to $3.59 a pound.
